Contact Lenses
Our Expertise
Contact lenses are thin, curved lenses that sit on the tear film covering the surface of the eye. They can be hard or soft, and are often given a slight tint of color to make them easier for wearers to handle.
Here are some types of contact lenses:
01. Daily disposable lenses
These lenses are generally more expensive, but have a lower risk of infection.
02. Two week or monthly disposable lenses
These lenses are for daily wear.
03.Toric contact lenses
These lenses correct moderate astigmatism. They come in soft or RGP forms, and have two powers. One power corrects for astigmatism, and the other for myopia or hyperopia.
04. Soft contact lenses
These lenses are made of soft, flexible plastics that allow oxygen to pass through to the cornea.
05. Hard contact lenses
The most common type of hard contact lens is a rigid gas-permeable (RGP) lens. These lenses hold their shape firmly, yet they let oxygen flow through the lens to your eye.
06. Bifocal contact lenses
These lenses offer two different prescriptions in a single lens. One prescription is for close reading, and the other for normal, distance vision.
